INNER ARTIST:  MAKING ART WORK

Something Textural For a Change of Pace | Poppsee

While scrolling through Instagram to get inspired I hit the jackpot with this photo.

In our blogs we talk about different styles of artwork and how they work in a space. Well, sometimes you need to have something other than framed (or unframed) artwork on your walls. You need texture....to add life and break up all of the same same.

Lauren Williams creates these beautiful tapestries of hand dyed wool fibers and they are fabulous. The wool has great texture, the colors range from saturated (literally) to faded and it all looks effortless....even though it is a labor intensive process.

These beautiful creations can work with casual to formal and boho to refined settings. So the next time you are looking for something different, consider that artwork comes in many shapes and sizes.
