We want to give a shout out to artists that inspire us and are a little different than what we do here at Poppsee. Our furry best friends always deserve a special spotlight and artists have some creative ways of giving it to them.

Dana Hawk, a Missouri native, took onto canine portraits during her time in art school and hasn't looked back since, even getting published for her pieces. We think these pieces are so neat, mixing realism with incredibly precise portrayal of the animals so close to our hearts. And, they're all done by hand with oil paint. Let's take a look at a few!
